“The taste and timing is perfect for Christmas,” said television actress Simone Singh, as she launched the new range of Chateau D’ori wines.
The collection of two white and three red wines, created by world-renowned oenologist athanase fakorelli, was launched here Thursday. The wines were created from the first crush of Nashik based D’ori Winery which is the first winery in the country to follow the method of oenology practiced in the Bordeaux region of France.
D’ori winery chairman Ranjit Dhruv said, “We think you’ll savour our first crush, because though there have been wines produced in India before, they have been of inconsistent quality.”
The Chateau D’ori range will soon be launched in Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Kolkata and Delhi.
