Aishwarya Launches Sports wear for longines after bridal wear

Aishwarya Rai, brand ambassador for Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Longines, launched a new sports collection for the brand at Royal Western Turf Club of India at Mahalaxmi Race Course, Mumbai, Thursday, December 6.

Aishwarya wore a knee length front slit white and black wrap-over dress with a black banded waist and V-neckline. The dress had black ruffle around the neck and hem and a black and white bow at the waist.

She was adorned with diamond and pearl drop earrings with a matching ring. She precluded any skin show by wearing skin toned sheer stockings with black high heel peep toe pumps. The "father of the family" must have been pleased!

Overall, her look was captivating, befitting a brand ambassador for an international brand. We wish she would rethink her light chalky eye makeup though. We have seen it too often now.

Aishwarya had earlier launched a limited edition bridal watch collection at an event in New Delhi, where she walked the ramp for the first time since her marriage with Abhishek Bachchan.

The bridal watches are in three collections - DolceVita, with clean, trim lines reminiscent of the 1930s; BelleArti, a tribute to a woman's inherent grace and a reinterpretation of the Art Deco movement of the 1920's; and the La Grande Classique de Longines with a slim, sleek case profile.

The limited edition comprises just 175 watches each with 175 diamonds representing the 175 years of the company's existence.

Longines watches are sold through exclusive outlets across India.

Hold on! Before you rush off to buy one remember they start at Rs 100,000 ($2,500) a piece.
